‘Choosing your favorite photo is not really the easiest task there is, but at some point you need to make up your mind so I’ll go with this Vincent Matheron photo showing him threading the needle between two trees in Carry-le-Rouet in March 2022. The reasons I chose this particular photo are multiple, first, spending time with Vincent is always a quality time, you know you’ll have fun, so when Red Bull France asked me if I was keen to shoot pics with him for a day in Marseille, it was a no brainer, of course I was in, and as expected, on top of great skating we had some good fun. Of course we went to the Prado bowl, but we also went to Carry-le-Rouet skatepark nearby, where the session turned into a family reunion with Nathan, the lil’ bro’, Patrick, the dad, and Seb the uncle, all skateboarders! So I really wanted to go to Carry because I had this shot in mind, I really wanted to try to shoot a slow shutter speed photo in between the trees cause I thought it’d look cool, and to be honest I’m pretty happy with the result. Photography is still pretty new to me and being able to produce what I had in mind was quite satisfying!’
