What is your name and where do you live?
My name is Matt Miller (hateartchee), and I live in Salt Lake City.
How long have been drawing skateboard sketches and why?
I’ve been drawing skateboarding for about 12 years now. I like to draw skateboarding because I love skating, and I love drawing, so I wanted to put the two together.
Where do you get the inspiration from?
I’m inspired by my favorite skaters, and my love of skateboarding. Seeing people do dope tricks with a good style is like nothing else.
What does skateboarding mean to you?
Skateboarding to me is an escape, as well as a life lesson generator. You can have a horrible day, then go skate and make it an amazing day. It also teaches you that failure is ok, and to get back up if you don’t make it first try.
If there is one thing you could change about skateboarding, what would it be?
If I could change anything about skateboarding, I would make the slams less painful lol.
