‘This was just one of those days where you just never knew what was going to happen. The crew included Ben, Lance Mountain,Willis Kimball, Mason Merlino, Chris Russell, Kevin Kowalski, Brad McClain and some others. I think this was the second pool we hit on this day and it was a long standing permission pool that had seen its share of shredding. The ladder was being utilized by Mason and Kevin and the next thing you know Ben does an Indy air to fakie in between the bars; you know, threads the needle so to speak. After he makes that he tries the ride in between and boardslide down and on his first attempt he nearly makes it. Ben was so spontaneous with his skating and there was a chance he’d not even try it again. Everyone got pretty hyped and Ben decided to keep it going and rode away from it a couple of times. So rad.’
