What is FULLSENDWAX?
It is a skateboarding brand and a wholesale custom wax manufacturing company.so in short we have our own brand and global team plus we make custom wax for other skate brands and skateboarding shop’s & annual skateboarding contest.
What is the goal with FULLSENDWAX?
To have a global non profit outreach program for kids that need a better outlet other than gangs,drugs. You know some people are suppressed by their environment and told they can’t own their own business or be an Olympian.. they are only told “you have to find a job and marry it” . then 30-40 years later they realized they are unhappy .(when in reality we only live one life so it’s best to be what you want to be and not what other people want you to be.. not saying it will be easier to follow your dreams but it’s definitely worth it). Also we want to be the #1 custom skateboarding wax manufacturer in the world plus the #1 choice for professional skateboarding contest wax ,street wax and wax collectibles.
Can you tell us something about skate wax that people would not know?
There is more than one type of wax: Soy, Palm, Bee, Gel, Rapeseed, Coconut and some kinds are poisonous and some are not.
How can you tell if a skate wax is poisonous?
I would avoid aromatherapy candles made of paraffin—a petroleum byproduct—which releases carcinogenic soot when burned. The soot can also cause respiratory problems and will aggravate the conditions of those who already have asthma, lung, or heart problems. Mainly it should tell you on the packaging but if it doesn’t it’s always best to look up the brand & manufacture because you can’t tell by melting it but it releases carcinogenic in the air that u breathe in and may cause cancer.
What triggered the idea for the skate wax brand?
JUST WANTED TO MAKE WAX TO GIVE BACK TO SKATEBOARDING WITHOUT A COOL GUY OR POLITICS POINT OF ORIGIN. PLUS WAX MAKES IT EASY TO LEARN NEW TRICKS .
What are the difficulties have you faced running a skateboard company?
Cool guy clubs, gate keeping and clout chasers, racism.

I remember in the 90ies we yelled at the scooter guys who used to wax everything as it made it way too slippery. Here we are now fully waxing it ourselves. What has changed?
NOTHING HAS CHANGED IT JUST DEPENDS ON THE SKATER AND THE VALUES THE SKATE SHOP THEY GO TO OR THE PERSON WHO BROUGHT THEM INTO THE SKATEBOARDING WORLD BUT US PERSONALLY. WE NEVER YELLED AT SCOOTER KIDS OR ANYBODY UNLESS THEY DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO WAX THE SPOT. AND WE DIDN’T YELL AT THEM WE TAUGHT THEM HOW TO WAX A SPOT. BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO BE A STUART OF SKATEBOARDING NOT A DISGRUNTLE. THERE ARE THOSE PEOPLE WHO BLAME NOT LANDING A TRICK ON NOT ENOUGH WAX OR HAVING TOO MUCH. WHEN REALLY THEY JUST NEED TO PRACTICE MORE BUT 90% OF THE TIME THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PART OF THE BOARD ACTUALLY TOUCHES THE THING THAT THEY ARE SKATING. PLUS WAX WAS HARD TO COME BY WHEN I WAS YOUNGER ALSO I DIDN’T HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT WHEN I WAS YOUNGER HAD TO MAKE LIFE DECISIONS ON TO BUY WATER AND SOME SNACKS OR A CANDLE SO WE WERE ALWAYS WHERE STOKED WHEN SOMEBODY HAD WAX. JUST THE OTHER DAY AT THE PARK THIS GUY WAS WAXING THE MIDDLE OF THE BOX I DIDN’T EVEN SAY ANYTHING I JUST WAS LIKE GUESS I CAN’T SKATE THE BOX ANYMORE AND ANY ONE WHO CAME TO THE PARK I LET THEM KNOW TO BE CAREFUL.
How big is the skate wax competition/market? Seems like craft beer where at least someone down the street makes their own?
COMPETITION & MARKET ARE 2 DIFFERENT THINGS SO LET ME FIRST ANSWER ABOUT COMPETITION I WOULDN’T KNOW. I AM AWARE OR OTHER WAX COMPANIES BUT I DON’T FOCUS ON THEM BECAUSE, I DON’T ACTUALLY HAVE ANY COMPETITION BECAUSE NOBODY IS DOING WHAT I’M DOING AND TO PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE COMPETING AGAINST ME OR ANYONE WHEN IT COMES TO CRAFT THEY ALREADY LOST AND ARE LIGHT YEARS BEHIND SO THEY SHOULD JUST GIVE IT UP IF THEY CAN’T REVAMP AND FOCUS ON SELF EXPRESSION.
NOW ABOUT THE MARKET: THE MARKET IS WIDE OPEN BECAUSE THE MAJOR SKATE COMPANIES ARE NOT GOING TO WASTE THEIR TIME MAKING OR PUTTING THAT MUCH EFFORT INTO MAKING WAX, THEY MAKE WAY MORE MONEY ON OTHER PRODUCTS. AND MOST SMALLER COMPANIES AREN’T GOING TO PUT THAT MUCH TIME AND EFFORT INTO MAKING SOMETHING THAT THEY AREN’T GOING TO MAKE ALOT MONEY FROM.

How is your skate wax different from the competition? On your website it says you are ‘pushing the innovation of skateboarding’.
BECAUSE OUR WAX IS HAND CRAFTED WITH THE SKATER IN MIND AND MOST COMPANY JUST USE ANY KIND OF WAX AND THEY DON’T ACTUALLY USE IT THEM-SELFS THEY JUST FOCUS ON THE CHEAPEST DESIGN OR DON’T PUT ANY MORE EFFORT INTO THEN THAT, OR STRESS TEST IT. BUT I ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO BUY IT AND TRUST IT OUT AGAINST THERE FAVORITE WAX.
AND HOW ARE WE PUSHING THE INNOVATION OF SKATEBOARDING? WE ARE OPENING THE MINDS OF PEOPLE WHO THINK SKATEBOARDING HAS TO BE THIS OR THAT WHEN IT IS ACTUALLY IS EVERYTHING THERE ISN’T ANY RULES TO SKATEBOARDING, THAT’S WHY MOST OF US STARTED SKATING BECAUSE WE WERE TOLD WE HAD TO DRESS LIKE THIS, HAVE OUR HAIRCUT LIKE THAT. WHEN WE JUST WANT TO BE FREE MINDED LIKE ANDY ANDERSON, FANCY LAD, DAEWON, CHRIS COLBOURN, FRANKY VILLANI, NAT, OSAKA DAGGERS, RICKIE JACKSON, Killian Martin. TO PUT IT BEST WE ARE ENCOURAGING SKATERS TO BRING OUT THERE TRUE SKATE SPIRIT AND TRY NEW THINGS THAT THEY MIGHT NOT THINK IS POSSIBLE OR MIGHT THEY GET LAUGH AT BECAUSE ITS NOT COOL ENOUGH BUT TO US IT IS COOL BECAUSE THAT’S THE THINGS WE WANT TO SEE U KNOW AND ALSO REACHING OUT TO OTHER SKATE COMMUNITIES TO LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE NOT ALONE BUILDING A WORLDWIDE SKATEBOARDER HOOD BECAUSE WHEN WE ARE INTUNE WITH EACH OTHER WE CAN PUSH SKATEBOARDING ALL TOGETHER AND SAVE THE LIVES OF MANY PEOPLE. SKATEBOARDING IS MORE THAN JUST SKATEBOARDING IT CAN HELP U MENTALY,PHYSICALLY AND FINANCIALLY. U JUST NEED THE RIGHT GUIDANCE TO NUDGE U IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AWAY FROM NEGATIVITY.
Why should a skater buy skate wax in the first place as candle wax is cheaper and seems to do the job?
U CAN GET SKATEBOARDS AND CANDLES AT WALMART TOO. WHY GO TO A SKATESHOP? WHY DO YOU GO TO GET FAST FOOD OR THE GROCERY STORE WHEN U CAN JUST GO HUNT THE FOOD OR GROW IT FOR YOURSELF? YOU KNOW IT’S SKATER’S SUPPORTING SKATER’S AND TO HELP U UNDERSTAND A LITTLE MORE IS BASICALLY U DONT GO BUY A PIZZA FROM A HAMBURGER PLACE U GET THE HAMBURGER BECAUSE IF U DON’T YOUR JUST CHEATING YOURSELF AND YOUR NOT SUPPORTING THE PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT YOU AND ALSO DISRESPECTING THE CANDLE MAKER BECAUSE WHEN THEY MADE THERE CANDLES THAT HAD IN MIND FROM THIS TO BE USED AT A DINNER OR BIRTHDAY OR FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION. WHEN I MAKE WAX I HAVE IN MIND A NEW SKATE SPOT BEING MADE OR A OLD CRUSTY OLD BEING BUTTERED UP AND SKATERS GETTING NEW TRICKS EASY WITHOUT DESTROYING THE BOARD TOO MUCH.
On your website you are looking for team riders that are ‘shredding under the radar’. How are you able to help them ‘to maximize their ability’?
WELL THE GOAL IS PUTTING A SPOTLIGHT ON THEM GIVING THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO REAP THE REWARDS FOR THE HARD WORK GIVEN THEM HOPE AND INSPIRATION BECAUSE IF YOUR NOT IN ONE OF THESE COOL GUY CLUBS YOU WILL BE OVERLOOKED IF U DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT LOOKS. DO A CERTAIN POPULAR DRUG’S OR DRINK TO FIT IN YOU WILL BE OVER LOOKED EVEN IF U DON’T LIVE IN THE RIGHT CITY OR COUNTRY YOU WILL BE OVER LOOKED ETC. SO WITHOUT PREJUDICE WE PUSH THEM ONE STEP CLOSER TOWARDS THEIR DREAMS.
If you could pick any skater for your team, who would it be and why?
Daewon Song. Why: he’s a loyal guy and he’s Daewon Song. He has a lot of good vibes u know that’s whats skateboarding is about in our eye’s, it’s a never ending creation and u should always be on new things and ideas because that is having fun and a lot of people say they’re just skating for fun but if u ask them to film something on a curb they ask why when they can kick flips a 10 set.
