Thanks for submitting all the pictures for the Taiwan story. Who are you? My name is SNAPCHUANG and I am from Taiwan in Asia.
Assuming you started off skateboarding at what point did you move to photography and why? About 17, I start go skateboarding. I remember when I was 26, I got a film camera for participating in a 5-a-side football game. Under the influence of Thrasher magazine, I used to go skateboarding with my friends to find spots, and I was in charge of taking photos and recording.
Is there one skateshot you wish you had taken? I want to take more fisheye lenses in the near future.
Proudest moment as a photographer? When the skater landed the trick while I shot the ideal picture. It is this moment that makes people happy and proud.
What gear are you shooting with? Fujifilm XH1, Xpro1, rolleicord vb. contax rx. Panasonic dvx100.
Is there any post-production you do? If so how far do you go? I don’t change the photo too much. At most, I adjust the exposure and a little color. If the work requires me, I will still make adjustments. For me, there is still a lot to learn about image post-production.
What is on your wishlist? Able to shoot skateboards and be a professional.
Last question. If you could interview one person, who would it be and why? Alex Pires. His fisheye photos are excellent.
