My name is “Toyameg”. I live in Fukuoka, Japan.

How long have been drawing skateboard sketches and why?
I’ve been painting on skateboards for 6 or 7 years. I like the culture of skateboarding so I draw them. I make them as art pieces that can be displayed casually.

Where do you get the inspiration from?
Inspired by movies and animations. I especially like horror and dark fantasy.

What does skateboarding mean to you?
Skateboarding has always been a cool admiration for me. I tried skateboarding, but I didn’t improve much.

If there is one thing you could change about skateboarding, what would it be?
I want more places in Japan where we can skateboard. People don’t have a good impression of skateboarding in my country. I want people to change that way of thinking.
